The Andong Culture and Arts Center is holding a special exhibition titled 'The Era of Contemplation_Portraying China' until December 4th to celebrate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and China.

In this special exhibition showcasing the forefront of contemporary Chinese art, artists Wang Qingsong, Yao Lu, and Zhang Kechun become cultural icons representing the flow of the times, presenting various issues in modern Chinese society through documentary-like works rather than merely observing social phenomena.

In particular, they aimed to capture the ideological confusion and changes experienced by modern individuals due to globalization and urbanization through diverse staging and grand scale in their photographs.

During the exhibition period, there will be a permanent experience of photo collage using the artists' works and guided tours by exhibition interpreters.

안동문화예술의전당은 한·중 수교 30주년을 맞아 특별기획전시 ‘사유의 시대-중국을 담다’를 오는 12월 4일까지 진행한다.
중국 현대미술의 최전선을 보여주는 작가 왕칭송·야오루·장커춘의 작품으로 열리는 이번 특별기획전시에서 3인의 작가들은 단순히 사회 현상의 관찰자가 아닌 시대의 흐름을 나타내는 문화적 아이콘이 돼 다큐멘터리와 같은 작품을 통해 중국 현대사회 여러 문제들을 보여준다.
특히, 다양한 연출과 거대한 스케일을 사진에 담아내며 세계화와 도시화로 현대인이 겪는 이데올로기적 혼란과 변화를 담아내고자 했다.
전시 기간 중에는 작가의 작품을 활용한 포토콜라주 상설체험과 전시해설사의 전시해설도 운영한다.
