Burberry, the iconic British luxury fashion house, will host the second exhibition of its Burberry Art Space series, Emotional Legacies, at its Seoul flagship store from September 4 to 24. This exhibition shines a light on contemporary British art, exploring how landscape and nature connect memory, tradition, and identity.

Burberry has long supported artistic creation, fostering a deep and ongoing dialogue with the arts. As part of this commitment, the Art Space program, which debuted in Seoul last year, now continues with its second chapter. Under the theme Emotional Legacies, the exhibition investigates how heritage is not confined to the past but exists as a living, evolving relationship shaped by memory, emotion, and place.

The exhibition features works by three contemporary British artists: Celia Hempton, Martyn Cross, and Tomo Campbell. Each artist presents a unique interpretation of landscape, observing the emotional and cultural layers embedded within nature. Their works redefine heritage as a dynamic and ever-changing interplay between remembrance and identity.

Emotional Legacies will be on view at the Burberry Seoul flagship store from September 4 to 24. Admission is free with advance booking via Naver, opening from August 27.

영국을 대표하는 럭셔리 패션 브랜드 버버리가 다음달 4일부터 서울 플래그십 스토어에서 현대 영국 미술을 조명하는 버버리 아트 스페이스 시리즈의 두 번째 전시, ‘감정의 유산(Emotional Legacies)’을 개최한다.

버버리는 오랜 시간 예술가들의 창작을 지원하며 예술과 깊은 연대를 이어왔다. 이러한 연계의 일환으로, 지난해 서울에서 시작된 아트 스페이스 프로그램은 올해 두 번째 전시로 이어지며, ‘감정의 유산’을 주제로 풍경과 자연이 기억과 전통, 정체성을 어떻게 연결 짓는지에 대해 탐구한다.

이번 전시에는 영국의 현대 미술 작가 실리아 햄튼(Celia Hempton), 마틴 크로스(Martyn Cross), 토모 캠벨(Tomo Campbell)이 참여한다. 세 작가는 각기 다른 방식으로 자연 풍경에 담긴 감정적, 문화적 층위를 관찰하며, 유산의 의미를 기억과 감정, 장소 사이에서 살아 숨 쉬고 변화하는 관계로서의 유산((헤리티지)로 제시한다.

전시는 9월 4일부터 24일까지 버버리 서울 플래그십 스토어에서 열리며, 8월 27일부터 네이버 예약을 통해 무료로 관람할 수 있다.
