The exhibition <Emotional Legacies> will be presented at the Burberry Seoul Flagship during Frieze Seoul 2025.
From September 3 to 24, 2025, the exhibition <Emotional Legacies> will be on view at the Burberry Seoul Flagship. This exhibition explores the meaning of memory and identity through nature and landscape within the current of contemporary British art, presenting works by Celia Hempton, Martyn Cross, and Tomo Campbell.
On the opening day, Wednesday, September 3, from 7–10 PM, a public opening will be held as part of the Cheongdam Night program. Visitors holding a Frieze VIP ticket may attend without prior reservation.
From September 4 to 24, the exhibition will be open by reservation only. Both docent-led tours and general admission bookings are available, and reservations can be made through the link below:
Rather than framing heritage as a static remnant of the past, Emotional Legacies invites us to reflect on it as something alive and ever-changing—an entity shaped through memory, emotion, and place. Through the lens of landscape and nature, the exhibition offers a space to contemplate the layered meanings of heritage and identity, and to share in these reflections with the audience.

2025년 9월 3일부터 24일까지, 버버리 서울 플래그쉽 공간에서 전시 「감정의 유산 Emotional Legacies」가 개최됩니다. 본 전시는 영국 현대 미술의 흐름 속에서 자연과 풍경을 매개로 한 기억과 정체성의 의미를 탐구하며, 실리아 햄튼(Celia Hempton), 마틴 크로스(Martyn Cross), 토모 캠벨(Tomo Campbell)의 작품을 소개합니다.
개막일인 9월 3일(수) 오후 7시부터 10시까지는 청담나잇 프로그램의 일환으로 퍼블릭 오프닝이 진행되며, 프리즈(Frieze) VIP 티켓 소지자는 별도의 사전 예약 없이 참여하실 수 있습니다.
9월 4일(목)부터 24일(수)까지는 사전 예약을 통해 전시 관람이 가능합니다. 예약은 도슨트 예약과 일반 예약 두 가지로 운영되며, 아래 링크를 통해 신청하실 수 있습니다.
이번 전시는 유산을 고정된 과거의 흔적으로 바라보는 대신, 기억과 감정, 장소 속에서 끊임없이 변화하고 살아 움직이는 존재로 사유하게 합니다. 자연과 풍경을 통해 되새기는 감정의 층위와 정체성의 의미를 관람객과 함께 나누는 시간이 될 것입니다.
