Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture (CEO Song Hyeong-jong) is holding the profile photography exhibition ‘NEXT I’ through the 22nd at the first floor of the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture Daehangno Center.

The exhibition is part of the 2025 Seoul Artist Activity Support Program. It was organized to share with the public the results of providing early-stage artists with essential support for professional profile photography and both online and offline promotional resources.

At the exhibition, profile photographs of 100 new performing artists taking their first steps in the field are displayed alongside statements and keywords representing each artist’s identity in an archive format. Visitors can view the faces and professional information of individuals who are expected to lead the future of performing arts in one place.

Profiles produced through this initiative will also be published on Art JOBRO, a job-matching platform for artists. This provides practical opportunities for emerging artists to connect with companies, institutions, and producers, and serves as an effective channel for promoting their portfolios.

During the exhibition period, a talk program titled NEXT I: Those Who Walked Before will take place. Veteran actor Park Sang-won will share his experiences of key decisions and fieldwork from his 40-year career, facilitating dialogue between generations of artists.

Beginning with this exhibition, the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture plans to continue focused support for future artists, including the Seoul Connect Stage program designed to assist the growth of aspiring artists.

CEO Song Hyeong-jong stated that the exhibition provides an opportunity for emerging artists to introduce themselves through their own faces and words, and added that the foundation will continue to provide practical support that connects artists with the field and the public.

서울문화재단(대표이사 송형종)이 신진 공연예술인의 활동 기반을 강화하기 위한 프로필 사진 전시회 '넥스트(NEXT) I'을 오는 22일까지 서울문화재단 대학로센터 1층에서 개최한다.

이번 전시는 '2025년 서울예술인 활동기반 지원사업'의 일환이다. 진입 단계에 있는 예술인들에게 가장 기본적이고 필수적인 프로필 사진 촬영과 온·오프라인 홍보를 지원한 결과물을 시민들과 공유하기 위해 마련됐다.

전시장에는 공연예술계에 첫발을 내딛는 새로운 예술가 100인의 프로필 사진과 함께, 각자의 정체성을 담은 문장과 키워드가 아카이브 형태로 배치된다. 관람객은 한자리에서 미래 공연예술을 이끌어갈 주역들의 얼굴과 활동 정보를 살펴볼 수 있다.

특히 이번 사업을 통해 제작된 프로필은 예술인 일거리 플랫폼인 '예술인 자브로'(Art JOBRO)에도 게시된다. 이는 신진 예술인들이 기업, 기관, 기획자 등과 연결될 수 있는 실질적인 협업 기회를 제공하며, 자신의 포트폴리오를 효과적으로 알리는 창구 역할을 하게 된다.

전시 기간 중에는 선배 예술가와 소통하는 토크 프로그램 '넥스트(NEXT) I : 먼저 걷는 사람'도 운영된다. 40년 경력의 베테랑 배우 박상원이 참여해 예술가로서 겪은 선택의 순간과 현장 경험을 신진 예술인들에게 전하며 세대 간의 연결을 도모한다.

서울문화재단은 이번 전시를 시작으로 예비 예술인의 성장을 지원하는 '서울 커넥트 스테이지'를 개최하는 등 미래 예술인을 위한 집중 지원을 이어갈 계획이다.

송형종 대표이사는 "이번 전시는 신진 예술인이 자신의 얼굴과 언어로 스스로를 소개하는 기회의 장"이라며 "앞으로도 현장과 시민을 연결하는 실질적인 지원을 지속하겠다"고 밝혔다.
