We are pleased to announce a Flower Class in conjunction with the exhibition ‘A New British Modernity’ held at the Burberry Seoul Flagship.
This Flower Class is inspired by the theme of British Abstract Art featured in the exhibition. The participating artists in the exhibition depict natural landscapes through colors they choose spontaneously, using flexible methods such as placing the canvas on the floor or standing it up to complete their works.
Through the Flower Class, participants will have the opportunity to create new abstract artworks using flowers as a medium, based on a similar free and dynamic approach. By selecting flowers in a variety of colors, guided by their inner feelings, and arranging them in different ways—either standing or lying down—participants can enjoy their own unique art pieces in everyday life.
This program emphasizes creative and sensory expression, offering a special experience that allows participants to feel artistic inspiration in ordinary spaces.

이번 플라워 클래스는 전시의 테마인 영국 추상미술에서 영감을 받아 기획되었습니다. 전시 참여 작가들은 즉흥적으로 선택한 색채를 통해 자연의 풍경을 묘사하며, 캔버스를 세우거나 바닥에 놓는 등 다양한 방식을 유동적으로 활용해 작품을 완성합니다.
플라워 클래스를 통해 참가자들은 이와 같은 자유로운 접근 방식을 바탕으로, 꽃을 매개체로 한 새로운 추상 작품을 창조합니다. 각기 다른 색의 꽃을 마음속의 울림에 따라 선택하고, 그들을 세우거나 눕히는 다양한 설치 방식을 통해 일상 속에서 자신만의 작품을 감상할 수 있는 기회를 제공합니다.
