Pam Evelyn’s practice centers on the materiality of painting and the possibilities of collision within the pictorial surface. Her canvases are marked by thick layers of paint, bold chromatic contrasts, and irregular gestures that oscillate between intention and spontaneity. Evelyn completed her MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art, London, in 2021, and has since held solo exhibitions at The Approach (London, UK), Pippy Houldsworth Gallery (Sydney, Australia), and GLOAM (Leeds, UK). Her work has been presented at major international platforms such as Frieze London and Art Basel Miami Beach, as well as in institutional exhibitions at Whitechapel Gallery (London, UK) and Carl Freedman Gallery (Margate, UK). Her paintings are included in significant public and private collections, including Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo (Turin, Italy), Zabludowicz Collection (London, UK), and LVMH (Paris, France).
